Academy of San Diego is one of an increasing number
of schools around the world licensed to use the educational
methods, materials and services offered by Applied Scholastics
International.
Applied Scholastics, a not-for-profit educational organization
formed in 1972 by educators from colleges, universities
and both public and private schools, provides education
materials and services that empower individuals to learn
more effectively as well as strengthen educators’
existing teaching skills to help them further that improved
learning. The result is that students can better achieve
their goals and realize their full potentials, and educators
can more satisfyingly fulfill their calling. Applied
Scholastics materials and services are based on the
broad range of educational technology developed by L.
Ron Hubbard (known as Study
Technology or Study Tech).
Study Technology and Students |
| Through the knowledge and use of
Study Tech, students can become not only more capable
learners but more independent learners, developing
skills that help them to both understand and apply
what they have learned. The end result is that students
trained in Study Tech are more in command of their
lives, more engaged, more empowered. Within any
school program the benefit is obvious, but the much
greater benefit is that this ability will remain
a vital resource throughout these students’
lives.
